Project #1: Multi-Billion Dollar Convenience Store Operator
Oracle General Ledger calendar change, nine (9) new operating units, six (6) new banking integrations and new Oracle asset books (revalued) for nine (9) entities
The client was being acquired and had to rapidly change their Oracle fiscal calendar. I led the solution design and this calendar change was implemented in less than three (3) months. When the decision was made to consolidate the parent company’s North American operation on Oracle Applications, I led the effort to implement the new companies fully within four (4) months.

Project #2: Content Delivery Network Company
Achieved annual savings of $30 million through revenue recognition automation
The client needed a trusted adviser to accelerate the automation of a revenue alignment program. I was engaged to lead the project, manage governance and interface with external advisory firms. Since the automation spanned multiple systems (Salesforce, Siebel, Oracle Receivables, and Oracle General Ledger), I was also able to deep-dive with the solution teams to ensure we had a quality solution.
I quickly learned the client’s SDLC and Change Management approach. I was able to proactively engage with the client’s PMO, Audit and InfoSec teams to satisfy specific requirements and maintain our timeline. Before the solution was deployed, I led the project team successfully through the change effort for Sales, Legal, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounting and IT.

Implementation of an automated Sales/VAT tax engine for Oracle
The client purchased Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE (formerly Sabrix) and needed assistance to complete the implementation in a timely manner. I was engaged to come in mid-project. I was quickly able to scale up my knowledge of the product and finish the implementation across more than (twenty five) 25 operating units and ledgers in Oracle Applications (Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables, Oracle E-Business Tax).

Creation of new, revalued Oracle Asset Books (Federal, State, AMT) for asset base of $1B
The client required the rapid implementation of tax asset ledgers in Oracle Assets to support recent M&A activity. The effort was handed on a flexible schedule and in a timely manner to support the quarterly close.
